Requesting Baby Shots.

(Also in "Talk About Photgraphy", but I need all the exposure I can appropriately get. This is the other forum that is a good fit for the topic.)

A woman at work, and her husband are asking me to photograph their 10 month old daughter. They will be some at their home, and some at a park. I can dictate time. Even though these are not "Formal", it will be a more structured setting that I am used to.

What I am asking for is links - here on POTN, or elsewhere to your favorite baby shots. Please, no modesty here, THESE CAN BE SHOTS YOU TOOK!!! Or someone else’s - I am just looking for ideas on pose, setting etc.

I will be using the 5d with the 28 - 135 lens, and if need be, the EX430 flash (But I have no off camera capability).

Tip - timewise, ask if she takes a nap - if so, time it for straight after the nap. Or first thing in the morning - both these times are better for her mood.

Further tip - take some cellophane tape - make a lil loop with the sticky side on the outside. Stick in one of her palms - she will try to take it off one hand and get it stuck on t'other. And so the cycle starts again. Call her name and she will look up all surprised (hopefully anyway) and maybe even a smile.
