Nice capture Sindri. I like the look-back turn on this one, good timing and nicely exposed too.

Nice shot Sindri but it looks like you missed. The bird is soft but the water just beyond the bill appears sharp.

Nice job capturing a skittish bird Sindri. These guys were like having lazer detector. Any human form gets near, they'll take off. Good thing is, their built-in detector only detects human shape. If i sit in my car, and drive closer, i can get within 2m.

Another great shot, Sindri. If I had known snipes could be so cute, I would have hunted them long ago. :)

Around 5 meters I think.

They stand completely still when they try to hide so they are often very hard to spot and as soon as you glance their way they fly off with a loud shriek. You usually only have few seconds to get the shot. ;-)a

Nice shot Sindri. Looks like you startled it by the quick look around and got it just in time. Well done.

The eye seems to be a bit on the soft side, but not by much. I like the over-the-shoulder pose. My eye keeps going to the white floating thing in the upper left corner...easy to clone out.
