All photos taken during a guided tour of Budapest, thats about the last time i try to take pictures while having a guide stressing me :)
I will try to go there again in the future and have more time taking pictures, Budapest is really beautiful at night, i hope i managed to capture some of it here.

This picture is of the house of Parlament, using my Sigma 70-200EX

This is what i call the "I spy" bridge, it was featured in the Eddie murphy movie called just that" I Spy".
No stealth fighter parked on the towers when i took the images as far as i could tell :)
Also shoot using my Sigma 70-200EX

This is as i recall the state library, i am unsure if that is 100% correct since i dident understand the tourguide.
Shoot using my Sigma 24-70EX.

This is a overview of the House of parlament and the "I Spy" bridge, shoot using Sigma 24-70EX.

All images shoot using jpeg since i dident grasp the benifits of Raw at the time (something that i regret now).
No pp done except for some slight cropping and resize.

Please tell me what you think and how i could improve my photography.

These pics are fascinating to me. I have never been out of the US, and I love looking at shots from other countries.
These are great. I love the colors and the saturation. You got excellent exposure for nighttime shots, they all look really sharp. Makes me want to check out the Sigma lenses. ;)

I really like all of them.... Great job!!

I would like to get a few more comments on the pictures, 1 comment out of 103 views is a little less then what i was hoping for.
With all the tallent around here im sure someone has something to say, be it good or bad or just that the images dosent say anything to them.

Very nice series! What was your WB setting for #3? To me, it looks a little too "yellowish" in tone. Maybe it's just my laptop screen.

I hate to nit-pick, but on picture #1 the horizon looks to be sloping down to the right. I know it's little things, but when I looked at it at a few times that's what was bothering me.

Im quite sure i used Auto WB for all the shoots, thank you for pointing out the sloping horizon, i tend to not notice that while shooting.

I think its time for a tripod with a leveling bubble:)

Great shots, i was B/R in Budapest, but these sights are always breathtaking...someone once suggested turning down the WB (i.e. 2500-3500 K) for long exposure nightshots. It dramatically reduced the yellowing effect. Not criticism just something that I found useful...

Perfect time to resurrect the thread... I will be in Budapest in 2 weeks. I wonder if the OP can tell me where these shots were taken from?

Sorry about the late reply, i just got back from a few weeks vacation in Hungary, no trip to Budapest this time thou.

The two first pictures where taken from a building on top of the hill looking down, there is a monument there called "bastion", you will know when you get there, it is also something famous.
The last two pictures where taken from the big hill where the huge statues are, no idea of the name but in daylight it will be clearly visible, it is quite a bit away from where the first two pictures where taken.

It is called Gellérthegy, the best views onto the city can be enjoyed and "exposed" from there .

Nice pictures. Number 3 I think is the Palace and the color looks about right to me. I like your perspective more as I took mine along the street.

I't hard to appreciate these shots when they're so small, but they look nice. WOuld be good to see #4 larger.

It's the royal palace and the bridge is the Chain Bridge.
