I managed to get pretty close to a couple of these at A.Hayden this past Summer and I suspect this is where you found this one. I got close BUT NOT this friggin close Minimum focusing distance on the 200 F2.8? Wayne you better get some extension tubes so you can do a Mtcon macro on the Heron's eye Excellent work here ...wonderful detail.

So you went birding with your 200 2.8 heron magnet again, didn't you?

Excellent series Wayne of the GBH and to get get so close up to the heron of only five feet is truly magnificent and get good close up details, nice ones, well done.
