I don't like the first but I do the second. I wish with all that great sunlight you could have captured some of it on the subject. He is kind of flat looking but great shot anyway. You still captured a nice facial lighting.

It's funny that you think that because I totally disagree. I love the facial lighting on this shot as it's soft and shows good highlight with shadow. I see the bright sun shining behind the sunject and I just wish some of it would have hit the subject for a bit more dimensional lighting. I think more fill flash would have killed it.

Sorry to confront you on your opinion but I'm a tad bit bored tonight and not much else is going on out here.

There's something about the first... I like it... but I hate it... not sure... It's good, but there's just something that bugs me... might be that it's SQUARE... so I agree with both these guys up here...

Anyway, the second is really nice... maybe try to save some of it with the shadow/hilight in PS... need to bring the face out of the slight underexposure... fill flash would have been key on that one.
