The vivid green matches well with the reds of the trees on the right,but.....
Are you buying any nd grad filters any time soon Sandy?
That sky looks dreadfull, one filter (even the cheap cokin) would produce you with a much better result buddy.
Excuse my rude honesty.

That is exactly the way the sky looked, been raining on and off most of the day lot of fog, actually the sky might even look a little better in the photo. The camera didn't lie on this one.
one of the reasons I titled it 'corn in the mist', the sun was just trying to come out so there was some reflection from the colors in the trees.

No apologies needed, we get about 3 blue skys a week if lucky and at that still clouds. New England is rated as one of the 3 cloudest areas in North America. Guess thats why the settlers named it New ENGLAND

Thank you Marie, I got lucky with that one, it was a real crappy day foggy, and on and off rain most of the day.

Nice shot, Sandy! I'm suprised your corn is still so green down there! But it contrasts nicely with those gorgeous fall colors.

It is a nice shot. I too am surprised that the corn is so green. It is brown here.

Thanks Becca and Char, well it's brown around here also for the most part. I took that photo, I think, on Sept. 28th, Maybe the reason is that we had so much rain the farmers didn't get to plant as early as normal, they started out almost a month late.
