I'm considering purchasing the Tamron SP AF28-75MM F/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) to use with my Canon 300d. I have read reviews which look promising and seen lots of sample pics (all daylight pics) which all seem to say the same thats it's a sharp lens. Anyone have any sample pics they can post of the same lens used in varying low light situations with or without flash ?

I'll probably be ordering this online over the weekend and a low light photo sample would just make me that little bit surer that I've made the right decision. My budget can't stretch to L lens at the moment.

My copy does great in good light, but often front or backfocuses indoors say in a meeting room without flash. Sometimes it gets good focus but not often. I've heard several other reports of poor low-light focusing. On the other hand the Canon 50 f1.4 does great in low light.
