Depending on what I am shooting, I find that I am quite often below the 1/focal lenght "rule". I'm pretty steady handheld most of the time.

No, the smell is the one that escapes from your wallet, after becoming completely devoid of all money.

No wonder why my wallet stinks.

For the price you will not get a better L lens than this.

QUOTED IMAGE

A higher ISO (maybe 400 or 800) or using a monopod or tripod to be able to close down to f5.6 or f/8 at 1/80 or faster would be nice to look at as well?

I'm sure you could do ISO 50, f/16 and 1/2 sec if you wished. The point being would a smaller aperture stablized by a faster shutter speed using a higher ISO or some support do a better job?

So I saw (I read your message properly :p), and frankly, it makes me sick. What - are your hands made of concrete? I was happy that I could get a shot at 95mm 1/15s, but that's with IS. Wow - if you had a 17-55 IS, you could shoot in total darkness!

Well the actual size did seem a tiny bit blurry but print size or online size or if i needed it for work then it would be fine.

Tip is: Concentrate, take a deep breath, dont think about it and STOP DRINKING COFFEE lol

Hehe, I'm not a (gun) shooter, but I've been told that the technique is effectively to that used by a marksman
