Sep 30, 2006 17:41 | #17 Thanx Chris; I talked to other folks and they told me the chickadees don't land on their hands at other parts of the World. I tried this at several places in town and the chickadees always land on my hand if I have food in it. GaryFairhead Cream of the Crop More info | Sep 30, 2006 17:54 | #18 They can be pretty pursuasive these guys. They won't eat out of my hand in my back yard but they will at a lot of the trails in and around town. I guess its because people feed them and I find they are quite tame at the Dewberry Trail, Jack Pine trail and at Mud lake. While shooting Owls they can be a little distracting when they land on my head Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....
