Thankyou everyone for all the gracious comments. I was feeling down artisticly lately since I haven't produced anything worthy in the last 2 months.

I've seen the bird, this is art. ;)

I think this is the most flattering comment anyone has ever siad about my work and the one I most often want to hear. Thank you!

Love the first one, like the second one. I think I would like the second one more if it was B&W. I'm not sure there is enough color to make it a strong color print, but I think it would look great in black and white. I'm definitely heading over to the lake next week to get some early morning shots after seeing these.

I planned on making this a monotoned print with a gold quadtone or something. I know you know that I need one for an upcoming competition.

That second image is a real keeper. I could not resist just a little PP to isolate the subject a bit more. My eye was being drawn away from the subject. I hope you approve. Again, I think it is a superb image.

I thought it needed some cropping too. I like yours, thanks.

I definately like the first #2 better. The pointlights look like dust specs floating in the air. Priceless. :)

That's not to detract from #1. It's an excellent shot. The shadow on the head merging into the background highlight is perfect. And it's so sharp.
