Well as a newspaper assignment I had to go and take a few headshots of Miami's Athletic Director. It was his idea to shoot it with the field hockey game as the backdrop. It's funny because I think the paper just wanted standard headshots, but with his pose and my OCD post processing, I think it came out looking like some type of Men's clothing advertisement. I think he should consider doing this professionally. lol

NO NO NO

J. Peterman Catalogue!

Actually these are nice headshots and well done with natural lighting. Did you also use a reflector?

haha thanks everyone.
No, i didnt use a reflector. I was actually there to shoot the field hockey game and as a secondary objective was told to get some headshots so it was really impromptu. I probably only took 5 shots in total.
i did use my 430ex on camera as some general fill though.

I really like the first and last shots. The sun looks a little harsh on his face in the second shot. Overall a great job though.

For just taking 5 shots, you did have 3 good ones. That's 60%, not bad.
