I agree! I would be tempted to clone out the dark spot in the lower right hand corner though. I love the gradiance from yellow to green. The bird looks great too!

Yes, it's a great background and the bird is so sharp. I know how hard it is to capture them since they hardly sit still.

Beautiful shot with just enough DOF. I agree with you that the sunlit background works well. I think a slightly tighter crop would make it look perfect to me.

A very sharp and beautiful photograph of a species we do not get this far north. Great colors in the BG and excellent detail in the bird. Nicely composed and I agree with Dan on a quick fix to the bottom right of the image. Very nice work Chris.

Every aspect of this shot works. I think the bird is adorable. We dont get too many cute little ones here in Cent. Fl. so I am always envious when you guys to the north post these.
