A lot of people keep saying that Google Maps / Google Earth high resolution images were taken from satellite. They weren't - even in low earth orbit a satellite is far too far away. They were taken from aircraft, apparently using some kind of film based system. It isn't always that dust free, but it's the first time I've seen a bug.
