Sigma 70-300 APO v/s Canon EF 75-300 USM views pl.

To get improvements over the Sigma APO, one would have to step into L territory.

Im only guessing but I would imagine the 70-300IS would knock spots off of the Sigma 70-300 APO, but then its a heck of a lot more expensive, the Sigma from what ive seen is better built too.

Or go with the sigma 100-300 f4 EX HSM. That lens (and the 70-200 EX) is up for anything any non-IS L can through at it.

Sigmas Pro line of EX lenses are outstanding and come with a 4 year warrenty. I think the only true advantage the "L's" have over them is IS and the few that are weathersealed.


60D, Canon 18-135 IS, Sigma 10-20 hsm, 24-70 2.8 hsm, 70-200 2.8 hsm, 430EX II, and all the other stuff that goes along with it.
