Chickadee ISO 400

Before I got the 20D, I had the Pro1. With the Pro1 you pretty much always had to shoot at ISO 50 to avoid noise. Although ISO 100 was not too bad with it.

It has taken me awhile to gain confidence to shoot at a higher ISO, now that I have the 20D.

This was taken in Av Mode ISO 400 1/250 sec.

Very nice, you have to use the higher iso on the longer lenses. You have done well.

Excellent capture with nice colors. I see you went over the background with the blurr tool to remove excess noise, but this slight noise is still visible around the edges. I do this sometimes and it's a lot of work if you wanna do it righ. You could of just smoothened with Neat Image or Noise Ninja.

No blur tool was used. It was Neat Image.

I really like the pose and the colors all working together. Maybe you could clone out that vertical twig behind his tail though.
