After having many doubts, I just did it yesterday. I bought the 17-40L to replace my Sigma lens.
Lets hope it performs just as good as my 70-200 2.8L.
In 2 weeks, I will travel in Africa and will find out !
Whish me luck :lol:

PS. The 100 Euro canon cash back as still valid in Europe helped me for paying this baby.

Good luck! Hope you like the lens. I don't have one but I've read very favouable reviews about it.
