I like it, but then I don't. I'm not sure what it is about it.

Nup! I'm not that cruel LOL. She'd just woken from a nap and found me outside with my camera finding things to shoot and she came up to me and I just took the shot. Obviously there was PP involved.

I do like it. I like it a lot. I feel like it draws me right into the photo - almost to where I can FEEL her sorrow!

NICE job!

Thanks heaps CDS, KansasMom and savans16. Maybe I'm not sure whether I like it because it's my own little girl crying....I don't have many of her crying as she's usually a happy kid. The colour version was nothing too special but the sepia seemed to work well.

I agree, I like it and don't like it. It's an emotional photo but I always hate to see a child cry.

I LOVE it!
I have a few pics of my son in his "sad" moments.........
and though you just want to consol them and it breaks your heart to see them cry.......it also captures a moment of their childhood...that iinnocence that you just want to hold on to.
Now go give her a hug ;)

NIce capture, great emotion. If I had to guess though it was soon past. Kids are resilient. I do find the clutter in the BG bothersome. The child is tack sharp, nice job.
