Mallard stretching in the fog

Taken a couple of weeks ago first light, heavy fog.

My challenge was to focus on the head and get him while he was fully erect verticaly so the head can be the sharpest part of the image and have the wings and water droplets show some motion. This was my best of about 8-10
pics before the fog lifted.....

30d, 500f4, 1/50, f.4, ISO 500.

You did well here on the focus, I have one similar shot at Mud lake. Will post it later...

Nice image here Marc and the slow shutter speed does give a nice effect on the wings and the fog certainly adds to the mood of the shot.
