I attended a friends wedding today and they asked me to take pictures. I mostly took candids. I tried to stay out of the photographers way.

This is Alyx. He is the best man's oldest son. My wife and I are very close to Alyx. This kid tore up the dance floor at the reception.

I need your opinion on the original or the edited version. Of course C & C is welcome. Heck, a response is welcome because I don't seem to get many.

They both look a little darker after I uploaded them.

I agree with Fureinku, the second edit is much better. The colors pop out and the entire photo looks much cleaner and sharper.

Sounds like you caught one of the few moments he was staying still. Were you able to get any feedback from the B&G or other family on the photos? I've been asked to 'take a few photos' at receptions before, where the only payment I hope for is some feedback. I haven't been disappointed yet (and apparently neither have they).

Number two for sure. You did a great job with the shot and the processing.

Thank you very much for the feedback. I just printed the second one out and framed it for the parents this morning. I bet Mom asked me ten times if I would get some shots of the little guy. I think they will like it.

I also did some PP work on his glasses frames to cut the glare. It looks a little better.

There are a couple of the bride and groom on my website if anyone is interested.

I love this picture! Great work! The colors in the second one are much better, but it is the comp and pose that make this picture!! fantastic
