Some Ducks in flight.....and a waddling family...

Hi there,

today I saw a flock of my favorite ducks, the Australian Shelduck and a pair of Manned Geese (Wood Ducks) Poth of these species nest in the hollow of big old rotten gum tree hollow. When the checks hatch they climb to the top and jump out, now sometimes this is over water other times they have to land on the hard ground, quite remarkable.
