Yeah ::John::, they had fences at the BBQ - At the other end of the 5 acre property!! Too far to walk from the Esky!! Easy to get there but would have killed me getting back.

Earlier in the day I did some impromptu playing with my studio lights as my wife and SIL were practising hairdo's for the SIL's upcoming wedding. Here's some blatant "look at me" promo (rough 1st draft at this time, done only for the BBQ guests).

Hi All

I am going to the F1 races in Melbourne in 2 weeks time.
I was wondering if there are camera shops in Sydney (Hills District) where I could rent a Canon 70-200 for 3-4 days.
This is a long shot, I know...............
Thanks
Patrick

We had a great light show over Adelaide on Friday night, nothing like the lashings Sydney have had lately but great photo opportunities.

If interested, have a look here at my first attemps with the new 400D.

Missed it. Should have tried to get some shots but the battle is finding somewhere reasonably safe to take photos. There were about 20 images of lightning shots sent in to smh.com.au this morning making me wish I'd made the effort.

I know of this place but I haven't rented anything from them. Not Sydney Hills District but they seem to have Sydney and Melbourne offices.

Souwalker,

I've hired a 70-200 f2.8 IS from Kayell before. Good service and the price was reasonable. Not Hills district but in Artarmon.
