Jim, my eye is also drawn to the "lies" part. Nice logo though.

Hey Guys

I have asked one of my mates to help me design my new website, www.michaelhossen.com (external link). We came up with this today, I quite like it! What do you guys think? BTW, he's only 15, quite good for someone his age I reckon.

Looks good - what's going to fill the white space?

not bad, dont like the text in the title though re professional photography quote though..shoudn't be so white, or smaller..

font up top right should match the ones youve used for the logo etc.

but hey its your site thats just my opinion.

Stuff, some photos, and some general information. This is just the preliminary design.

I'm going for something to separate the two words - that was what first came to mind. I'll see if I can come up with something to compare it to.

Jim, my call would be that it puts a bit too much emphasis on the "lies" part  It really stands out.

Anyone feel like giving some feedback? I've been staring at watermarks/logos for so long now I can't tell what looks good anymore :p

That look any good? Too varied with the effects or not?

I'd make it a tad smaller, but otherwise it looks good!
