Good morning, Peoples! It's another glorious (and so far profitable) day :)

Shame I have to spoil it by being office bound!

I'm glad someone's having a good day today.

This morning we discovered $690 gooone from our main bank account. Basically all of our cash for the next fortnight.

Someone somehow got the debit card details and spent up big on a poker website. Arghhh.

Add to that constant ADSL dropouts which made it hard to track down the bank or function at all and it's been a crappy morning.

Oh yeah and the day job work phone is coming to my bad-reception low-battery mobile today ... arghhh.

I hate paying bank fees that's why I give all my money to my wife to spend on handbags and shoes.

wouldn't have stopped people killing themselves...an excel in 1997 wasnt exactly the pinnacle of safety for a small car..

too many factors to be able to say...just because its a smaller car doesnt exactly mean it would have definately stopped a lot of idiots killing themselves..

Partially agree. There will always be idiots. Putting people in a low powered FWD is less likely to result in injury, rather than giving them a high powered rear wheel drive. FWD are much more forgiving, especially in the wet. I am not at all saying that people cant or wont be stupid in a FWD, but the risk of them ACCIDENTLY coming unstuck is much lower than in a RWD, especially high powered.

Of course if they want to be idiots they will be, in which case it makes no difference.

Sucks big time - I hope your bank is being helpful - when I was robbed the bank covered the amount and changed my account/access/everything - they left the old account open to track the thief.

C'mon guys - we had a few pages of the car stuff - how about creating a thread over in General Chat and doing the car thing over there. Please?

Damn, man, that's terrible! That reminds me to use my debit card rather than my credit card for internet transactions as much as possible... Hope your day gets better!

This was done on my debit card, which is why it sucks. I have no cash!

It would be easier if they maxed out a credit card, since it's only a matter of time until the refund comes through anyway ...

Sorry to hear Luke - so does that mean they have the card? Or they can do that just with the card numbers?
