From a starting price of $3100 to the winning bid of $3200 isn't a huge snipe tho ;)

nah you can snipe in at 5000 if you want... and it'll take the next highest in order to win.

so you never know what the snipe will be.

Fair enough...I don't do eBay, so I don't know the jargon...:p

Morning all. I got up early to give MD Web Hosting a call, as I'm setting up a site for a friend. All my support tickets disappear and I'm on hold for ever. I've actually got through to a person once in the 15-20 times I called them. MD Web Hosting sucks!!!

I host through MD - although if they don;t get their act together this week I am changing providers.

Two weeks ago they had major (MAJOR) server melt down - don;t ask me the technical reasons, because I'm just not that kind of person. They are working around the clock (apparently) to fix it. You will get through to a person if you stay on hold long enough.

I think that they way they have handled this breakdown is appauling, but I have hosted with them for two years previously without much incident.

Blah - in saying all of this the only reason I haven't already quit them is because I built my site through them and I would have top start from scratch. Mind you - at the moment they can't find the back up info for my site.

It also took them a week to get this crappy temp page up. After many phone calls where I was assured that my site would be back up and running that afternoon - I finally got the temp page. A week later, still no actual site.

Hmm.

Naomi

Guys,
I have a wedding to go to today.
I'm not the photographer - but they want me to do videos because the videographer can't make it!!

argh - probably going to film in full-auto, because this is the FIRST time I've done any sort of videography  probably don't want to use someone's wedding as my learning ground :D

yep - aperture and shutter. THey work the same way as a still does - except if you go below 30fps, you start to get frame choppiness, just like a cheap webcam :p

However, the way the aperture/shutter is changed is like how it is done on a P&S camera... not ver easy to do on the fly.
