The profile shows more of the bird's attributes as well in the second shot. The first is nice but could have perhaps benefitted from a little fill flash to make it pop from the BG. Nice in any case. What are the vertical lines in the BG in both images? Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....

Oct 01, 2006 16:37 | #5 Gary: The vertical lines are due to the cage these guys were enclosed in. They are part of one of the exhibits at the Healesville Sanctuary. I had to take these shots through a glass viewing panel, hence the reason why no flash was used. Currently just a P&S, but watch this space.
