I took this photo while I was getting my photo gear together for a shoot the next day. Indi is a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Indi's toy is laying in front of her.

Marie, I think that the coloring on Indi’s body is a light reflection. Indi’s true color can be seen on her chest.

maybe thats what I was seeing which made me think the hair was completely different.
I suppose the hairs don't curl as much around the head as they are naturally longer anyway
