Yesterday was an amazing birding day. There were birds everywhere where I was. I spent sooo much time trying to get decent shots of warblers...they are tough. Especially in the crappy light and dense branches. But Eastern Phoebes are always cooperatively perched and I've always liked them. Finally got some 'proper' shots of them with a clean background. I was happy with them. The first one is uncropped as I liked the background with the goldenrod. I wished I could have gotten a shot with lots more goldenrod in it. The little white lines in the shots are apparently raindrops I hadn't realized I captured!

Very nice shots. The first shot I think the subject is too small .The second is my favorite , nice sharp pic with lots of detail.

Nice images with the second one working nicely. Light, details, BG and perch work nicely together here. There is a small scratch near the right border, behind the bird's head. Was it drizzling as it appears to be an elongated rain drop. It does appear to be raining slightly in the first image as well.

Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....
