Matrox 550, can it be calibrated with optix XR?

I have a Matrox 550 video card and I have a hard time calibrating my monitor with optix xr.
The profile that I generate don't seem to do a thing. Plus, the video card color management is not availalbe during calibration as the calibration software fills the entire screen. Anyone here that has a Matrox video card found a solution? I must be missing something.
