Thise shots is also posted in the "Nature & Animals" section, but I just didn't think it was right to not post a Bigma sample shot here, as well. Besides, I think there's some kinda' fine to pay if you get a long lens and don't post a duck shot:

That is one fine duck shot. Really sharp and great colours!

Hey Steve, in about a month or 2 from now let me know if you still like this lens.
I'm going back and forth about getting one, just need to hear from someone thats had one for a little while.
Does the novelty wear off and you go get a 300mm 2.8 or do you stick with the bigma?
oh btw nice sharp duck shot!!

When you took this shot was it handheld and how far was the 50-500 lens to get the shot ..

How does the weight of it feel, especially extended, with your 20D and grip? Is it balanced at all on your camera? Nice shot :)

It's not too bad; definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. it's not a light lens, though...

The bigma is a perfect zoo lens. 30D and bigma thats all I ever take.
It also can be a great landcape lens. A few people have sold theirs only to buy another 1.

Every new lens needs a duckshot :lol:
