Some friends of mine wanted a pic taken. All I had with me in terms of lighting was a reflector and the only background we could find with limited time was a brick wall.

What do you think?

#2 & #3 are a tad overexposed. On the first two I would prefer a slightly wider crop so the edge of the frame isn't right on the edge of the subject.

Nothing wrong with a brick wall backdrop. They get used a lot.
