Not really.. there are two different spellings with two different meanings :)

Compliment refers to praise, positive feedback.

Complement means to 'add something to', for example, a lens hood complements a lens. Lens hoods seldom compliment a lens, I don't ever hear mine praising each other, in fact, they don't really like to get near each other :lol:
