Are those really official lane drawings, or did some child do those? Official line drawings I'm afraid, in York there are historical buildings that literally take your breath away in their beauty, but a mundane task of paintng a few signs seems beyond the collective skills of the present York City Council Canon 1DS MKIII,7D, 85 1.2L, 24 F1.4L, 135 F2L, 200mm F2.8L,50mm F1.4, 120-300 F2.8, 12-24mm f 4.5

The patterns made by the bricks and, as mentioned, the increased saturation towards the end of the tunnel are very nice. I got a kick out of those wonderful markings as well. What an artist that must have been. Robert

Can you tell me more about the 12-24 lens Les? Brand, your experience, picture quality especially for full-frame in the corners. Thread at the front? Diameter? A lot of sun flare? www.PiCTOSO.nl

Diameter? A lot of sun flare? The lens is a Sigma 12-24mm , one of the few extreme WA lenses that fit a FF camera. Picture quality is excellent with slight fall off in the corners, although I usually accomodate this with a slight crop (it's a wiiiiiiiiiiiide lens on FF), sun flare is no more noticeable than my 17-35mm F2.8. Biggest drawback (IMO) is that you can't use filters with it as the front elements protrudes. I find I don't use the lens that often, a bit of a specialist lens I suppose? When the situation demands it, I do like using it. Thanks for the info Les! www.PiCTOSO.nl
