hello :D first photo post, so here goes.

here are some shots i took at the war & peace show - paddock wood - uk (external link) its a military vechicle show but has many reenactments going on and some interesting subjects to shoot (no pun intended :) )

the sun was bright all day, but number one was in a small wood and diffused the sun nicely i think.

These would look so cool with a grainy black and white effect. Great shots esp. number 1.

The first one really stands out. The others are nice too but do not have as much impact for me.

I agree about the monotone conversions , I like the last one best , he "looks"just right imho.

I thought the last one was Val Kilmer=D They are all great photos and I also think they would look great in monotone!

i like the idea of making the image look like it was taken at the time. but i also like the fact that it IS reenactment and that was what i was trying to say with the images. but i guess i can get the best of both worlds.
