I went out to find a eagle or two but as luck would have it they were not around. I don't usually even pay much attention to these egrets since it seems we have more of them around here then most any other bird. I must admit I did get lucky with this photo. I probably took 20 or so of them flying around with 1/2 of them having clipped areas at least on a few spots, 1/4 somewhat oof, and 5 +/- keepers. RonnF wrote in post #2064141  Would you mind sharing your EXIF with those of us who are not as successful with egret exposure?  Ron 20D, shutter priority, 1/2000, f5.0, ef 100-400mm @ 235mm, evaluative metering, ISO 200, AI servo, raw file converted in ACR.
