Thanks so much for the kind words. I went out to find a eagle or two but as luck would have it they were not around. I don't usually even pay much attention to these egrets since it seems we have more of them around here then most any other bird. I must admit I did get lucky with this photo. I probably took 20 or so of them flying around with 1/2 of them having clipped areas at least on a few spots, 1/4 somewhat oof, and 5 +/- keepers.

Hey Deuce--did you have your polarizer on the lens???? I ordered mine yesterday. Man I would kill to get a shot like that. I have some blue heron shots with wings extended that came out but never the white egret!
