well I finally did the change. Sold the L and got the sigma. I have been putting it off over and over because my f4L was just such a steller performer and was razor sharp wide open. I finally broke down and got the Sigma 70-200 2.8 DG
Hopefully it will be here by Wed.

I got it off FM for a very very good price. The guy sent me pics of it and its mint and he sent me wide open pics and they look pretty sharp for wide open and looks to be a very nice lens.
Now just waiting till wed is gonna kill me.
I put my L off to a good goodbye. went to the zoo today and shot 268 shots :)
Was a great lens

05Xrunner,

Congrats on the new lens. Did you get the new Macro version or just the DG one?

That's a good price. Post some shots when you got it.

Mine non-DG is packed and ready to send to Sigma to fix the EXIF mis-reported issue at 200mm. It reports as 456mm. Hopefully it's just a simple firmware flash.

Meanwhile I'll use my 200/2.8 :)
