This little lady was hopping around on my backyard fence for several minutes with these green berries in her bill. The shot was taken with the 100-400 at 400mm, and a Kenko 1.4x Teleplus Pro 300 TC. The exposure was 1/250 sec at f/5.6.

Good point about the TC and f-stop. There is one stop less light available to make the exposure. The TC does not affect the depth of field in the same way, does it? That is, I don't have the same DOF here as I would with an equivalent lens set to f/8, do I? I have never seen a discussion of TCs that addressed DOF (not that I have really looked).
