I'm looking at a used Canon 85mm f/1.2 L FD Lens. I'm told that this lens doesn't work on an EOS digital camera. Does this sound right? I'd like to purchase if to use on my 30D, but if it won't work....

AF will be lost. Canon 1D | Canon 10D | Tamron 17-35/2.8-4 | Tamron 28-75/2.8 | Canon 50/1.8 | Canon 70-200/2.8L

Oct 01, 2006 21:31 | #8 Okay, thanks! I've been shopping for an 85mm 1.8 when I saw the 85mm 1.2. I was certainly interested in the faster f stop. If it won't auto focus then I'm really not intersted.
