Hello everyone!

Just joined because I have a very hard question...who took this picture?

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png'

It's (I think) described as a shutter exposure (I have no clue what jargon photographers use) and a ghost effect and if you look real close the same image is smaller in the background (kinda like a over-imposed image of the same girl dancing) I need to know where the website is that contains this pic! I hope it's still around.

Another pic I want to know where it's at (I think from some vacation site) is this pic:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png'

As you can see, all I have are the thumbnails and I know the regular sized pics are on websites because I've seen them a couple years ago.

Anyone having any information about these is greatly needed and appreciated by me!

Please let me know!

They would! Aren't they pretty? I like the sea oats on a hill on a beach so much that I have looked all through google and still could not find the site it came from...actually I don't know if those are sea oats but that's what they look like, anyway.

They indeed would make great avatars! Have you got these in a way bigger size so we can see what they are?

No, I don't. That's why I joined this site because I'm looking for the websites they came from. Maybe with all these members someone is bound to know where they are. Please feel free to pass my post (whatever URL you get from this particular thread) around. Please, the more people are looking at it - the chances are that somebody knows where the original pics are at.

If you grab the first one (of the silhouette) and lighten it - you see the smaller figure in the background behind the over-imposed (more faded) silhouette.

I really would like to know who took that picture and he does have a website. Unfortunately I just don't know where or who. It's someone who speaks English and I do believe it is a man. *Gee thanks for narrowing that down NickNack!* LOL!

do you have the original file name? You could possibly do a search for that and see what Google Images brings up.

My Canon can.. I just need to find out how

The one with the dancer is *probably* cloud dance, forest dance, etc. BUT I've already tried those names and nothing remotely like it came up. As for the other one, I think that would simply have a name like "sea" "beach" or something like that. *Giggle* How many of those are on Google? *LMAO*

With the dancer pic...if I knew what the technique was that took that picture. The jargon that would be used to describe how the photographer took it - then we'd be closer because I vaguely recall there being a description of how it was taken.

I haven't found anything yet but I did come across a site that I thought was interesting...

You know, I was thinking - because it had been in 2003 when I saw the "dancer" pic, the site may no longer be up OR moved. Who knows?

I may have gotten a lead for the pic of the Sea Oats (Beach pic) and that it may have been up on a vacation site called VRBO. It was in 2003 when that pic was at the website main page. Now I'm not 100% sure if VRBO was the place where I found it the first time but it looks promising.

The other pic of the dancer in silhouette is still a mystery.

Regards, NickNack
