Canon 80-200 2.8 Is this a good lens?

I think the Photozone.de tested copy had been beaten up a fair amount. My 80-200L is very sharp at f/2.8.

Here's a comparison I did against my 50 f/1.8. Remember that at f/2.8, the 50 is stopped down quite a bit, and it still is only about as sharp as my 80-200L wide open. The print that is photographed is VERY small, and these are 100% crops. The print is probably 8pt font.
