Not a good capture OF shot.
After our long hot summer here in Arabia the shore birds are now returning. Here is a shot from a couple of days ago, I'm not sure of the birds ID.
The larger looks like a Red Shank and the others like Terek Sandpipers but their grey plumage looks wrong.
Can anyone ID please?

The big one looks like a redshank. I'll have to do some reasearch at home on the others.

Terek sandpiper is right - juveniles, I think.

The larger bird is a spotted redshank - adult winter plumage.

Luckart60,
Thanks for the chance to study a couple of shorebirds that I've never seen before. Best I can tell, Keith R nailed both of them. It took me a little study to see the difference between the Spotted Redshank and the Redshank. It turns out that the spotted has a much thinner bill and longer (which I really can't see in the photograph) and a clearly defined supercilium which is very obvious in the photo. Thanks again.
