I noticed today that Elements has a new version out (5.0). I just upgraded to 4.0 a few months ago.

I've read through the "what's new" info, but it seems pretty slim Anybody make this upgrade yet? If so, do you recommend it?

Thanks!

I don't think its worth spending the extra money. The Curves plug in can be had for free: http://free.pages.at/easyfilter/curves.html (external link)

$69/79 seems like a lot for this upgrade, when the full product is only $89/$99. $25 would seem like a more fair price especially since they seem to come out with new versions at least once a year.

If you spend a lot of time uploading to smugmug I'd gladly pay for the upgrade to get that uploading tool - seems like it'd save a lot of time. . . and curves. . .

Switched to Nikon . . . Thanks to all of you that made my sale a success! Enjoy your new gear!

Have you tried the 'send to smugmug' upload tool? I find it works great and you can upload multiple directories at the same time.
