Need a third party lens for Canon 30D, Sigma 18-200mm or Tamron 18-200mm?

Hi,

I am planing to get a new lens for travel photo shooting purpose and after searching the Internet and get the following few lens. I would like to get some advice about these lens on Canon 30D d-SLR.

1. #Sigma AF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC
2. #Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Aspherical (IF) Lens
3. *Sigma 18-200 mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS
4. Tamron Autofocus 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II Macro Lens
5. *Tamron 18-250mm F3.5-5.6 Di II LD Macro

*Just annouce at PhotoKina,can not find any detail price and release date。
#No sure it is the same lens。

Sigma 18-200OS and Tamron 18-250 were just announced and are not available yet.
I think #1 and 2 on your list is actually the same lens. Of the two, I'd prefer teh Tamron for it's closer min. focus distance. I think the Sigma 18-200 and Tamron 18-200 is about the same otherwise.

I have the tamron. It's an ok walk around lens. Considering the huge range, it produces decent images.
