C'mon up, there is a bounty of beautiful country between Gail's and my place. Besides, I only got to meet Gail long enough for a few pints, I think she could handle me for even a bit longer next time. ;)

So little time....... I have the money but due to cutbacks at work, they are taking 2 weeks of my 5 weeks vacation away this year. I am so sad about it....I live for vacations.

BUT, it does push me a little harder towards thinking about early retirement :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Ugh. I've been unemployed for 10 months (layoff from my previous corporate job) and have had make ends meet doing web design and marketing - not to mention paying photo jobs (something I never wanted to charge people for), and have been doing ok.

When it comes to salary vs time off, I ALWAYS wanted more time off as we live for vacations too Maureen. If I had a choice between and extra week, and an extra 10k, I'd take the time in heartbeat.

I feel your pain :(

Sorry to hear that Mo, but the early retirement does sound good.

This downturn in the economy has resulted in way less work for my company, and a big loss in retirement savings, I think retirement has been put off a couple more years for me too, we'll see though, I would sure like to be there. :D

Luckily, so far (fingers crossed) all my retiement is still there. Along with the 2 weeks cut vacation, they are cutting our night shift differential quite a bit and it will cost me about 10K/year. But... I still make good money and I don't have any debts other than my mortgage so I am not going to cut off my nose to spite my face. I like where i work so I don't want to makes any changes that I may not like just for a little money.

Just thinkin'. I would love to get a shot of Maureen and Gail together to post in here, and label it the "Mo & Flo Show"
Keep me smilin' girls. ;)

Ok, because it's Sunday - and I'm just relaxing with a good cup of coffee - it's time to give some credit to the 2 fine ladies who keep us so entertained!

Thanks Gail & Maureen!

That's so sweet, Chris:):) I think my post count is lower because the game was about 10 pages along when I found it and joined in. Now I will have to get with the program;)
