I'm embarrassed to say I don't know.
My hubby and I drove the coastal highway from Santa Monica to San Fransisco, and stopped at every single pull out along the way. Took us a week. :D It was years ago, and all of my photos from that trip went in one folder marked "coastal". I couldn't even tell you if that lighthouse was southern or northern. I'll take your word for it.... where is Pigeon Point?

In NY there is a little red lighthouse under the GW bridge, I want to get some shots of it some day. there is even a book (external link) about it!
