Doves are funny creatures. When startled, they often freeze and stare, perhaps in disbelief, or just because they're disoriented.
I took advantage of one of those moments to get a few shots at +1 EV against the bright sky.

Nice shot, these are really quirky animals aren't they. I've had a pair living in my basketball hoop and in a bird flat made for them for a couple of years. The hoop is now gone, but we waited until they had there young and moved on.

Just Steve lately.... :confused: .....
