its a little gem focuse is as good as a 20d ,screen is great, its got a very quiet shutter nice for when close to birds,iv only used it up to iso 200 but that seems fine ,the fact that it has no thumweel does not seem a problem but i alway shoot manul even with my mk2 so its simple to ajust as the light changes the weel near the shutter is easy to use for Shutterspeed changes and for apeture you just press a button in and wind the same weel, IQ is about the same as the 20d as far as i can tell .although i shoot raw + jpeg the prameter setting's go way beyond what the 20d can give you could even set it to give jpeg's like a p&s makes ,it is small though, as i use a mk2 most of the time im bound to notice a big diffrenc , but im enjoying this 400d great value for money imho.
