So, last I hear the Hamster was released from Leeds Hospital. On the BBC's website it says the show is stopped for the time being. Have any of you all heard anything else about what will happen to the show?

I REALLY hope they continue it. I saw a poll on the SUN's website asking the general public what should happen, cancel it or continue. It was 93% for continue.

I think it will continue. The usual suspects have come up saying it should be stopped, but there's been such a backlash (both from polititions and public) that it should be fine.

We hope...

I think if Hammy wants to continue then they would go ahead with it!

Its such an awesome show for them just to stop because of an accident,

They havent stopped Formula one racing because of any accidents have they!

I 2 hope it contunes, However the BBC is like all companys in the world. there to make money. If the BBC is making money for them then they will contune to make the show. The Show itself has been around for a while. I downloaded some old clips from 1989, so I don't think that the BBC will be removing the show all together from its line up.

I think if it was a case that the hamster wont make a full recovery then they will look at a new prestenter

For those of us in the states that love the show, but don't get to see it regularly, what the heck happened to him?

Its good entertainment, but given how badly biased the show is towards what ever manufactor is paying the bills that day, and how badly staged a lot of the "races" are, I wouldn't be all that disapointed if it didn't come back.

To see it disapear because of a freak accident however would be very sad, and to see it disapear because it promotes a passion for driving would be even worse.

I read today that Top Gear has resumed filming the sections of the remaining shows that don't involve Hampster.

He'll be sent home in about 10 days time.

Looking great so far!!

It would be a crime if Top Gear stopped because of an accident, accidents happen while travelling to work too.

More power to hamster getting well, he has a great screen personality, infact all 3 presenters compliment eachother very well.
