Well i am finding myself more and more wanting to be able to take picture of people, ALOT better then what i do, or have, my macro phase passed fast, not that i will stop, but want to focus more on people.

A friend from work this saturday had a b-day party at her house for her b/f and i was told i am the picture dude, nothing serious, just for fun, so i went, got their. few people took my cam to take pics, loved my 20D, wanted one et. anyways,i was actually "trying" to get good pics of people, and so now i need some input on what i can improve.

the lighting was very very low in these pics, all i had was the built in flash as well, so did my best!

I also used the built in camera B&W method, since the ligh that was around was red, i didnt want more red, so i went to b&W,

thoughts...

P.S - no PP done yet either.

My fav, i was looking through some hanging spices.

this is the redish lighting she had, she also has a brightly painted place, but they turned off that over head and had one on small lamp.

I like the easy, free compositions on the B&W. They are too dark for my taste but seem to come up nicely with at little post processing. They have a nice look to them.

Oh, I think the red image is a lost cause.
