Can anyone tell me the difference between the older RC-1 Flash Sync Cord and the newer RC-2? I have the RC-1 which I bought years ago for my film SLR, the Canon Elan IIe. It appears to work on my Canon 30D, but I was wondering what the difference was, if any.

Thanks for any info.
