Elevation 6725 feet with 400 steep steps to the top. Took this photo back in June, sadly the haze/smog from LA is rather bad in the warmer months but still a very beautiful park.

The typical shot would have been from the viewpoint (smog and all), but your shot of the viewpoint is good due to the smog diffusing the background.
